Wouldn’t it be nice if when reading some text that included words you didn’t understand, or weren’t sure of, you could hover over that word and get a short definition? Like Ascendant or maybe even a word like Ace.

It could really make writing the text less bloated and to the point, when you don’t have to stop to explain a term. Moving on!

Temple Grandin, diagnosed with autism as a child, talks about how her mind works — sharing her ability to “think in pictures,” which helps her solve problems that neurotypical brains might miss. She makes the case that the world needs people on the autism spectrum: visual thinkers, pattern thinkers, verbal thinkers, and all kinds of smart geeky kids.

Dr. Temple Grandin gives a rapid fire presentation on what it’s like to be autistic, and to have Asperger’s. People with autism or Aspergers don’t all share the same symptoms. I saw many of my son’s traits in Dr. Grandin’s examples.
